Every day, everywhere and anywhere across the internet thousands of unskilled, unknowledgeable, untalented, naive and unthinking "photographers" with their newly acquired "professional" equipment are crying out on the internet, because they are too lazy and/or too arrogant and in awe of their own newly discovered artisitc self importance, to actually do any real research for themselves: "I have had my camera a couple of months now, and want to take the next step. How do I turn pro, and earn money from my "art"?"
The same can be heard from wouldbe writers, musicians, designers, artists...in fact anyone wanting to apply their vaquely creative aspirations to making money, or becoming rich and famous the easy way. And of course immediately comes back the equally naive and ridiculous chorus of : "I love your work, you should be a professional. All you need to get started is a website and a Facebook page...go for it man! If you've got "The Passion" (always delivered in reverent tones) you'll make it". Have a look at this this video link and replace "musician" with any creative work which applies to you or your situation: http://www.aphotoeditor.com/2015/02/09/unsound-the-music-industry-is-extra-screwed-up-now/
